Found only in Tasmania, Huon Pine is an Iconic Tasmanian Timber. Huon Pine is very slow growing and as a result has a very tight grain structure. This gives the timber character and as a result makes a superb looking knife handle.What sets Birdseye Huon Pine apart from ordinary Huon Pine are those little black spots. They add a truly unique to the timber and it is much much harder to find Huon Pine with Birdseye in it.
